Motorola understood that a cheaper version of Moto E7 Plus would get more love and affection from smartphone users. So, they have decided to launch the Moto E7. Moto E7 and Moto E7 Plus vary on few parameters. Moto E7’s release date is 12 December 2020. Let’s explore the treasure of attributes of Moto E7.
Physical Structure
The Moto E7 weighs 180 grams. The body is plastic-made with a thickness of 8.9 mm. So, it is both thinner and lighter than its E7 Plus version. Moto E7’s resolution is 720 x 1600 pixels with a 6.5-inch LCD screen display, the same as that of Moto E7 Plus. It has a water-repellent coating. But, the IP-certification of the phone is unknown. Hence, one cannot say anything about the resilience it has against dust and dirt.
Battery & Processor
Moto E7 and Moto E7 Plus’s main differences are the battery and processor embedded into these devices. Motorola Moto E7 has a MediaTek Helio G25 processor, unlike E7 Plus, which has a Snapdragon 460 chipset. The MediaTek Helio G25 processor works on the principle of HyperEngine technology that enhances the smartphone gaming experience. As a result, it speeds up the game loading time, low-latency connections, and optimize resources to provide high FPS. The resource optimization capability of the processors also leads to maximization of the battery life. Moto E7 comes with a 4000 mAh battery. It is lower than that of the E7 Plus, which provides 5000 mAh.
Memory & Camera
Moto E7 can disappoint smartphone users on the parameter of memory and storage capacity. Yet, some can accept it considering the price of Moto E7. Moto E7’s storage capacity is 32 GB with 2 GB RAM. Users can insert a microSD card up to 512 GB to expand the memory. On the rear side, Moto E7 comes with a dual camera. One of them is 48 megapixels. It has the enabling binning capability. Hence, it ensures that the signal-to-noise ratio increases by delivering better image quality. The binning sensor of this camera gives a better frame rate. But the chipset somewhere limits the video stabilization in the Moto E7. The same is the issue that persists in Moto E7 Plus. The other camera on the rear side is a macro camera with 2 megapixels. The selfie camera (front camera) is 5 megapixels.
Audio & Connectivity
Moto E7 comes with a 3.5 mm headset jack port. It also provides a Google Assistant button on the phone’s left side, along with the volume and power button. Moto E7 supports Bluetooth 5.0 network. Hence, one can transfer at a data rate of 48 Mbps and connect up to 300m. It also supports 4G connectivity. But, Moto E7 is not going to support NFC. A fingerprint reader is on the backside of this smartphone.
Conclusion
Moto E7 has not yet confirmed the price in the Latin American and North American countries. The Moto E7 will be available in three color variants – Aqua Blue, Mineral Gray, and Satin Coral. It will be interesting to see how the market behaves with the launch of Moto E7, considering the trade-off between price and parameters.
