Sony has recently come up with the announcement to release three PS5 games early in 2021. Through its latest PS5 launch advertisement, Sony has recently revealed the launch window for its most-awaited games among its library of games.
During the mid of the PS5 launch footage, Sony threw some light over the release of games for PS5. Sony has revealed that its Returnal, Gran Turismo 7, and Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart will be released in the first half of 2021; however, Sony has kept the Horizon Forbidden West for later release in the second half of 2021.
We were pretty aware that the sequel of Horizon would not be added among the titles that will be released in early 2021, and the video footage of PS5 made us believe it. Forbidden West is a sequel of Horizon, which carries on the plot of Zero Dawn’s Aloy, who has to save humanity from getting extinct by unveiling more secrets of the past.
The launch of PS5’s limited library of games is one of the drawbacks the PS5 console has; however, rest everything is fine, but its limited backward compatibility (way too less than Xbox Series X) will make individuals wait eagerly for new games to arrive.
The PS5 console game – Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, on its arrival in early 2021, will effectively utilize the loading times of PS5’s next-generation SSD. In an interview – the creative director at Insomniac Games – Marcus Smith, stated that the customized I/O architecture around the SSD helps send the game players in dimensions in a speedy way. The next-generation SSD’s involvement has changed the rules fundamentally, thereby allowing them to think about game designs and other innovative ideas applicable to the PS5 console.
Similarly, Gran Turismo 7 will also make complete use of the DualSense controller of PS5 alongside its adaptive triggers and improved haptic feedback to tackle more extreme racing conditions.
The lesser-known game – Returnal is nowhere left behind, as it has fascinated us by its shooter/rogue-like hybrid gameplay in a third-person perspective, where you get stuck on a weird planet that transforms itself every time you get ceased.
Conclusion
So, this was all about the PS5 games that Sony has confirmed through its PS5 launch event. We hope that Sony will give more details regarding the release of these games, and they get released within the first and second half of 2021.
