Metal Gear Solid Remake Might Come To PS5

Metal Gear has been a cult classic for more than 30 years. Players idolize its characters, story, plots, and gameplay mechanics, which was the USP of the game since 1987. The first Metal Gear was a two-dimensional game, and it was one of the best 2D games of that time. Over the years, Metal Gear transformed from a leisure time game to a full-fledged Triple-A title game among the ranks of other Triple-A titles such as God of War, Soulcalibur VI, Final Fantasy VII, and Grand Theft Auto 5.

According to sources, theMetal Gear Solidremake has been in development for three years by Bluepoint Games, and it is scheduled to be released in the fall of 2021. Earlier, Bluepoint Games released the revamped version ofDemon’s Soulsfor PS5, and according to the YouTube channel, Moore’s Law is Dead, fans can expect a remake of the legendary game towards the end of next year.

According to Tom of Moore’s Law Is Dead YoutTube channel, there is a possibility of a remake of Metal Gear Solid in the future. In one of his latest videos, he finally confirmed that Bluepoint Games has been working on the Metal Gear Solid remake alongside the PS5 remake of Demon’s Souls for the last three years.

It can be hard to take something out of somebody’s mouth as legit. Still, Tom previously leaked the new God of War Ragnarok a year prior to the official declaration by Santa Monica Studio and Sony Interactive Entertainment. His facts about the game yielded results far from everyone’s expectations. Sony actually released the new teaser for the upcoming God of War game, which is set to release in 2021.

The last Metal Gear game that hyped the players was the 2018’s Metal Gear Survive, which was produced without the original creator, Hideo Kojima.

Hideo left Konami, and his departure resulted in repeated low sales of Metal Gear Survive, and the majority of MGS fans overlooked the new game entirely.

But some fans stayed loyal to the series and even hacked the PS5 to play Metal Gear Solid, and now that the game is officially revamping itself, fans just got served the best dish in the gaming world. Right now, it must be heaven for gaming dwellers as 2021 is going to be their year to shine, and what’s better than two Bluepoint games remakes in a single year?

Conclusion

The Internet is a weird place, and most of the time, it relies on word of mouth instead of actual evidence and concrete facts. However, the recent leak about the Metal Gear Solid Remake is still relevant considering Tom’s past and connections within the gaming industry.

MGS fans need not to rush things as the game will release next year, and there is plenty of time to check all the facts. And it’s better to wait for an official update and not rely on verbal evidence from the Internet.
