Jeremy Bulloch Passes Away at the Age of 75

The actor who played Boba Fett in Return of the Jedi and The Empire Strikes Back, Jeremy Bulloch passed away on December 17 at the age of 75.




Jeremy Bulloch was an English actor famous for his role as bounty hunter Boba Fett in the Star Wars trilogy. He also appeared in numerous British TV and movie productions, including Robin of Sherwood and Doctor Who.


The late actor was born in Market Harborough, Leicestershire, England. He started enjoying acting and singing after a school show at the age of five. He started featuring in Disney films, plays, and British sitcoms from the young age of ten. He then took his acting training from Corona Stage Academy. Bulloch’s first commercial was for a breakfast cereal at the age of twelve. The amazing actor played the protagonist of William Shakespeare’s play, Hamlet. He later appeared in various projects, including The Newcomers, Billy Bunter of Greyfriars School, musical film Summer Holiday, The Devil’s Agent, The Space Museum, and The Time Warrior, and many more. Bulloch was also a part of James Bond movies and in the ITV sitcom Agony.


Jeremy quickly gained attention for his popular character in the entire Star Wars mythos. His character also returned on The Mandalorian, and the audience loved his part. Irrespective of the movie’s character and the genre, the actor left an impressive mark with his incredible performance that has touched millions of hearts.


Actor Daniel Logan, who played the young version of Boba Fett in Attack of the Clones, shared a heartfelt message as a tribute to Bulloch on his Instagram. He shared his sorrow because of the significant loss of the industry and the creative world. He remembered all the teachings that the legend had shared with him. Logan said that the industry won’t be the same without him and that his great soul will always be remembered and recognized. He prayed for him to rest in peace.


Logan shared a picture of him with Bulloch and captioned it with: “IT BRINGS ME TO TEARS TO ANNOUNCE JEREMY BULLOCH HAS PAST AWAY,” Logan wrote. “RIP LEGEND I’LL NEVER FORGET ALL YOU’VE TAUGHT ME.!! I’LL LOVE YOU FOREVER.!! CONVENTIONS WON’T BE THE SAME WITHOUT YOU MAY THE FORCE BE WITH YOU ALWAYS,” he added.

Just a few weeks ago, the industry got the news of David Prowse’s death, who played the role of Darth Vader in the original Star Wars trilogy. Both the actors made a huge fan following for their fantastic performance.


The world has lost an icon today; our thoughts and deep condolences are with the wonderful actor’s family and friends and as a great human being.
