How to Save Tweets as Drafts and Schedule Them

You don’t have to publish your tweets in a hurry. It’s completely fine to take your time to finish it. None of us want to post something on social media that we may regret in the future. To save yourself from such a situation, you can use Twitter drafts.

Twitter drafts allow you to save your tweet as a draft so that you can complete your unfinished tweet or edit the tweet to remove any errors before publishing it. You can also schedule your tweet to get it published automatically at your set date and time. It’s simple and very easy to use.

Here’s everything you need to know about how to save your tweets as drafts and schedule them.




How to save a tweet as a draft

§ Click on the compose button.

§ Write whatever you want to save as a draft in the tweet compose window.

§ Tap the X in the tweet compose window.

§ A menu will pop up with the option to delete or save the tweet as a draft.


How to retrieve the saved tweet from drafts

Once you are ready to finish your tweet and publish it in the world of Twitter, you can retrieve the saved tweet from drafts. To retrieve the tweet:

§ Go to your profile and tap on the overflow menu.

§ Click on the drafts option on the menu, and you will see a list of saved drafts.

§ Select the draft you want to edit and publish from the list.

§ Next, click on the tweet button to publish it or tap the x in the tweet compose window to save it as a draft again.

Or

§ Click on the compose button.

§ You will see the draft option in the top right corner. Select it.

§ You will be presented with the list of saved drafts.

§ Select the draft you want to edit or publish from the list.

§ Next, click on the tweet button to publish it or tap the x in the tweet compose window to save it as a draft.


How to schedule a tweet

Twitter has recently added this feature on its platform, and currently, you cannot schedule the tweets using the Twitter mobile app. To schedule a tweet, you must log in to the desktop site of Twitter. To schedule a tweet:

§ Click on the compose button.

§ Tap the calendar icon from the bottom of the compose a tweet window.

§ Select your preferred date, time, and time zone.

§ Click on the confirm button to complete the scheduling of posts.

Your tweet will be posted on the scheduled date and time.


How to find scheduled tweets

To see your scheduled tweet, follow these steps:

§ Click on the compose tweet button.

§ Tap on unsent tweets and then scheduled tweets to see your tweets.

§ Finally, tap on any of the scheduled tweets to open or edit it.

Or

§ Click on the compose tweet button.

§ Tap the Calendar/schedule icon

§ You will see a link to your scheduled tweets.
